On Ranga Panchami, worship Mahadev in Varanasi with Abhishek and Shringar Sevas.
Ranga Panchami is a festival celebrated with great joy in our culture. It falls on Phalguna Krishna Panchami. On this day, people worship their Istha Devata, to remove the qualities of Rajas and Tamas in them, which cause bondage, ignorance and problems and to develop Sattvic nature, which gives devotion, wisdom and freedom. Marking the victory over Rajas and Tamas qualities, people celebrate the festival by applying colours to each other. Our elders say that one should worship God on this day with utmost devotion and seek his grace to progress in life.
To extend the blessings of Mahadev to all devotees on Ranga Panchami, which falls on the 12th of March, our Pandits in Kashi are performing Sahasranam Abhishek and Hariyali Shringar to the Lord in an ancient Ganga ma temple located in Varanasi. The Sevas will invoke the blessings of the Lord and shower tremendous blessings and boons on the entire family of devotees.
